How is Online Reputation Marketing Done
Since the primary goal of ORM is to neutralize the damage inflicted on your reputation by a negative search result, one of our first tasks is to determine:
1. The origin of the negative posting
A. Are these maliciously placed articles and listings by self-appointed consumer activists; B. Are they the result of old and outdated news media stories and articles; C. Do they accurately describe legitimate, honest issues and problems that the company is currently dealing with or should be confronting and solving. |

2. What key words/ phrases they appear for:
A. Does the negative posting appear only when the key phrase is the company name specifically, and is thus associated with the company only when its name is specified as a key word search; B. Does the negative reputation appear in the non-specific references to the company which result whenever a key word is searched for which does not include the proper name of the company. |

Once we have determined the origins of each of the negative postings and how pervasive they are, we then set out to take control of the search results pages for your company. We work on strengthening the positive listings on your Google page by demonstrating that the positive and neutral are those which accurately describe our client and thus deserve (according to the rules and patterns of behavior Google abides by), and that the negative results are not the relevant or accurate results. Following a creative and innovative set of guidelines and using methods we have perfected in our experience as search engine optimization specialists, we "fill the first page in the search engine with only positive results which inevitably forces the negative results to disappear from that page (as the number of positions is limited on that and every other Google page).
